APA is a progressive animal welfare organization seeking to improve the quality of life for companion animals in Dona Ana Canton and greatly reduce the number of unwanted animals impounded and euthanized at the municipal shelter.

Action for Animals (APA)

Since May 2012, nosotros take rescuedmore than than five,400 animals.  The majority of these have been dogs and cats/kittens pulled from our municipal shelter.

We are able to practise this through the tireless volunteer piece of work of our rescue/foster coordinators, foster families, weekend adoptions, and on a very tight, shoe-cord budget. Delight consider joining us!

A few days ago, an older cat was brought to us and appeared injured. After assessment, we discovered that he was actually healing from surgery on his neck prior to being picked up by county animate being control.

Since he had received medical care from a clinic somewhere, we reached out to nearby clinics to no avail. Thankfully, June'southward Senior Cat Rescue reached out wanting to accept Mr. Sterling in!
